New Requirements for Pesticides on Amazon
Amazon announced December 2020 new requirements for pesticides and pesticide related devices sold on Amazon. Requirements reinforce sellers must comply with EPA Regulations, Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (“FIFRA”) registration and labeling, plus applicable state/local law requirements.
What Should Sellers Do Next?
Most importantly is to make sure you provide accurate pesticide information about your products when creating items or listing items for sale on Amazon. If you need help verifying pesticide information and sourcing, reach out to your supplier right away.
Update listings by January 2021 with appropriate information to avoid potential removal by Amazon.
